Mechanical and Product Engineering Intern

Requirements:

• Students or recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering, Mechatronics or related disciplines.

• Familiarity with SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360 or similar CAD software is preferred.

• Basic understanding of mechanical components, materials and manufacturing processes.

• Interest in 3D modelling, assemblies, mechanisms, enclosures and product development.

• Hands-on experience with CAD, robotics, 3D printing or prototyping is an advantage.

• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and develop practical design solutions.

• Good problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.

• Must be available for a full-time six-month internship and able to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop mechanical and product designs for new concepts and prototypes.

• Create 3D CAD models, assemblies and engineering drawings.

• Design product enclosures, mechanisms, fixtures, mounts and structural components.

• Support mechanical integration of electronics, PCBs, sensors and other components.

• Explore materials, manufacturing processes and suitable fabrication methods.

• Support rapid prototyping, 3D printing and prototype assembly.

• Participate in fit checks, testing, mechanical validation and design improvements.

• Apply design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly considerations.

• Support vendor coordination and manufacturing-related discussions as required.

• Prepare engineering drawings, CAD documentation and prototype records.

• Collaborate with product design, electronics and embedded engineering teams.
