About the Role
We are looking for a curious and analytical Consumer Product Research & Innovation Intern to help identify what Seloriz should develop next.
You will research consumer needs, emerging product categories and market opportunities, helping the team move from problem identification to viable product concepts.
Requirements
Requirements:
Students or recent graduates in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, Electronics, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Innovation, Entrepreneurship or related disciplines.
Strong research, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Interest in consumer behaviour, product discovery, emerging technologies and new product development.
Ability to research competitors, compare products and identify customer needs and market gaps.
Good written communication and documentation skills.
Candidates with relevant research, academic or personal projects are preferred.
Must be available for a full-time six-month internship and able to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify real-world consumer problems and unmet needs.
Research emerging consumer product categories in India and global markets.
Study competing products, features, pricing and positioning.
Analyse customer reviews, complaints and recurring product shortcomings.
Identify product gaps and opportunities for meaningful innovation.
Explore technologies that could address identified problems.
Prepare product opportunity briefs and research reports.
Estimate indicative bill of materials (BOM), selling price and development complexity.
Support consumer interviews and early product validation.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop product concepts.
Build and maintain a structured Consumer Product Opportunity Repository.
